At LVCN, we work to bond together all members of our church family by putting Jesus Christ as Lord of our lives. We seek to strengthen each other in faith development through Christian fellowship, worship, study, and service to others. Below are the ministries we currently have in place to help us do that.
Adult Sunday School
"All scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."
-2 Timothy 3:16-17

Sunday School is a place for diving deeper and discussion so that anyone, Christian or not, may receive knowledge and perspective concerning the Bible. At Valley, we strive to seek God fervently and challenge and support each other throughout our individual spiritual journeys. We believe in the value of community and the blessings that come with a people built on Kingdom-seeking.
Adult Sunday School meets weekly, Sunday morning at 9:00.
Men's Ministry
"so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,"
Colossians 1:10

The mission statement of the Men's Ministry is to "walk the talk" as it says in Colossians 1:10.
Weekly devotionals are sent out via text and the men talk about it through the week.
The group meets once a month, alternating between a Bible study and an activity (such as social event, helping others with a project, or doing a project around the church).
Women's Ministry
"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."
1 Thessalonians 5:11

The mission statement of the Women's Ministry is to support one another, serve others, and join in fellowship in the light of the Holy Spirit.
The group meets once a month, alternating between an event and a casual activity consisting of a devotional, music ministry, and an activity.
Weekly, the group gathers via email to pray together; supporting one another's concerns, praising each other's joy, lifting up our community, church, country, and the world.
Young Adults Ministry
12 Let no one look down on [you because of] your youth, but be an example and set a pattern for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in [moral] purity.
1 Timothy 4:12 Amp

The Young Adults ministry provides an opportunity for fellowship and support for the older teens and young adults in the church. The group meets monthly
Worship Team
[28] Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, and offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship with reverence and awe;
Hebrews 12:28 (AMP)

The mission statement of the Worship Team is to have all Worship Ministry Team members be unified in the primary goal of enhancing Spirit filled worship and praise - to the benefit of all, and to the glory of God's eternal kingdom.
The Worship Ministry Team is an essential part of LVCN, consisting of numerous musicians, technicians, artists, and others valuable to the continuity of our congregational gatherings. Instrumentalists, vocalists, audio/visual, live streaming, doing corporate prayer, sharing announcements, and assisting during communion. A very busy bunch of folks who serve, support, encourage and pray for each other.
Rehearsals are Wednesdays @6:30PM and Sundays @8:00AM
Food Ministry
"And he answered them, 'Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.'”
Luke 3:11 ESV

The Food ministry works with Leesburg Church of the Nazarene weekly, on Friday morning to help distribute food to the needy in the tri-state area. There is always room for more volunteers. Do you hear the calling?
Nazarene Ministries International (NMI)
"And he answered them, 'Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.'”
Luke 3:11 ESV

As a church, we sponsor a child in the South American country of Peru through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Child Sponsorship.
From time to time, we collect items for Crisis Care Kits and School Pal-Paks for distribution through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries.
