We are a casual bunch. Come in whatever way you are comfortable. We will be grateful that you are joining us regardless!
Greeters
You will be greeted at the door with a friendly smile, handshake and church bulletin from one of our church greeters. Our greeters will be more than happy to assist in directing you to the worship center, or answer any questions that you may have about Winchester 1st Church of the Nazarene. No one will put you on the spot, or ask you to do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. Our goal is to make you feel welcome and invited to partake in our service!
Sunday School
Throughout the month, we will be focusing on a specific theme or the life of a biblical figure such as Moses, faith, spiritual gifts, Noah, etc. Participation is not required, but always welcome! This is more of a discussion time than a traditional teacher-up-front class-setting.
Worship Service
Pastor Madi will lead us in a Biblically based message and usually challenge us with some homework for the week. Our worship also includes joining the worship band in contemporary Christian songs as well as the old hymns and praying together. We encourage families to sit with each other during worship. If you believe you should take a child out of the service, there is a "quiet room" back near the entrance where you can sit with them. We love introducing ourselves to new friends, so expect to be greeted once or twice.
Fellowship
Following the service, we join together in food and fellowship. The food can be anywhere from donuts and juice to chili and cornbread. Please consider joining us! We love to fellowship together and you are more than welcome.
